A small firm by design, with a dedicated team for each client
Asercont was founded in Cartagena to serve a specific kind of client: the company that has outgrown an independent bookkeeper but does not need an international firm, and the business family that needs to organize its wealth with the same rigor. Companies required to appoint a statutory auditor, SMEs that outsource their accounting, companies and individuals with foreign-currency operations, groups in reorganization and families planning the protection and succession of their estate.
The way we work is the same across services: a dedicated team that knows the business, with an accountant as day-to-day contact and direct partner supervision; a written calendar of deliverables and deadlines; and opinions always grounded in the applicable rule. What we cannot support with an article of the Tax Code or an IFRS paragraph, we do not recommend.
Auditoría y Servicios Contables S.A.S. (Asercont) currently serves 65 companies in construction, hospitality and entertainment, healthcare, trade and services, several of them subsidiaries of foreign groups that report to their parent under IFRS.

Independence: in audit and assurance, judgment is not negotiable. Regulatory support: every opinion cites the rule behind it. Anticipation: we warn before the deadline, not after. Availability: the assigned team and the partners answer directly, without intermediaries.

Managing Partner
Certified public accountant (Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar), specialist in tax management (Universidad Externado de Colombia), master's degree in taxation and customs (Universidad del Norte), ICAEW certificate in IFRS for SMEs. Leads the tax and foreign-exchange practice and IFRS implementations; responsible for the firm's tax opinions.
Carina Quintero López
Operations Director
Certified public accountant (Universidad de Cartagena), specialist in taxation (Universidad del Norte). Runs the firm's operations: statutory audits, external audits and the monthly closings of BPO clients; responsible for the quality of deliverables.
